These intake gaskets only have ~30Kmi, but the coolant system was severely abused & neglected, which is why the gaskets are in such horrible condition around those journals.
The flaking crust on the intake is still there from the original engine - the shop that installed this reman engine didn't clean the intake thoroughly. So I expect to find several flakes in the bottom of the pan, &/or in the oil pump pickup screen. I'll probably hot-tank it before I install it.
