I wirewheeled & painted the 2ndry air tubes with engine black, and cleaned the hoses. But I tried silicone spray lube on one for a blacker look without removing or hiding the original printing, and it dried a dull brown. So I'll try something else later for the hoses.

The downstream pipe was steel-wooled (the wirewheel would have removed its Aluminizing); its rusty welded clamp was wirewheeled; and they were high-temperature primed & painted silver, like the exhaust manifolds. The stainless check valve only needed light brushing, but I might high-temp. silicone it to the pipe so it's sealed, but not locked in by the clamp necking them together. The bottom end was rusted so badly that it broke off when I tried to remove it from the Y-pipe nipple, so I cut it clean, and I'll use silicone hose to connect it.
