Used tire purchased from and installed by Tires and More for Less in NE Minneapolis on 03May2016, pic04. Upon further inspection of the flat tire on 04May2016 from the trunk of my car, I also noted the sidewall had some old scraping marks all the way around, in the shape of a half-inch wide band and about 1/16th of an inch deep, halfway between the sidewall text and the tread. Not a big deal, but not good, either. When I returned the flat tire to the store on 05May2016, I showed this scrape to two attending mechanics, and they both told me it was normal, with one mechanic pointing to the same place on a different tire in their shop (which had no damage). I again told them my flat tire was also scraped.
