A friend stuck his tractor bushhogging his way up a creek bank. He was to the side of the culvert, and against a fence, so he couldn't back up, or turn sharply either direction. It took me about an hour to get to him (in another state), but it was relatively easy to winch up the hill with the tractor cabled onto the draw bar balls. Since the draw bar is made to be a Lunette pintle, and since I wasn't snatching against the tractor, it's strong enough to be used this way safely.
