due to my soft 5.5inch Deaver coils and my high speed driving i really need swaybars. but with the lift and my tierod flip, i needed to modify the setup. my idea is to ditch where the link connects to the mount under the coilspring. instead i will be making a longer link and connecting it where the stud for the auxiliary shock mounts. the bar is above the stock location. this would clear the steering after the tierod flip and it would eliminate the need to lower the swaybar like most lift kits tend to do. the longer links will allow less binding durring axle travel than the short links
you could simply reuse the stock links in the original location and flip them upwards. i did not because i was worried about them causing binding as the axle travels
in this picture you can see i have the swaybar link disconnected and above the original location instead of below. the issue is the swaybar would be in the coil springs so now we need to move it forward.
