locktite.jpg It is HIGHLY recommended to use a new retaining bolt.  Unfortunately, I could not find the one I bought so I had to re-use the old one.  You don't want the pin coming loose while you're driving around--think exploding rear-end.  Use locktite to keep this retaining bolt from coming loose.

Once this is back in, put the lid back on the diff and fill with the specified gear oil.  In my case Ford calls for 75W140 synthetic fluid.
