shopstump05.jpg With 2 lines, I get nearly double the force at half the speed. So I should get up to ~24K lbf on this ~3.5' tall lever, which should be enough to rip it out of the ground. The snatch block is an antique monster that I salvaged from a BIG crane truck abandoned in the woods, so it can easily handle this. I'm not quite as confident about the chain, but with 2 runs, it should be OK. It's wrapped several times around the stump & itself to keep it from shifting or sliding off, even when the stump is laid down horizontally.
