so after 2 events running this engine and getting ready for the next, i started to head a bit of a knocking. oil pressure was pretty bad at 20psi cold and 5psi hot. assuming the worse, spun bearing, i decided to pull the engine instead of rish blowing it during the event.
i only had 3 weeks left before the event and i had ALOT to do. i also wanted this done all in a weekend (funny, i know). so friday night after work in the pouring rain i pulled the engine. defiantly not soemthing fun to do in the rain at night while tired, by yourself, on a truck with good amount of lift. but i got it out.
idea was to pull engine friday, rebuild lower end saturday, put it back in sunday. mostly completed that
