The driver's vent window pivot bolt has always been broken, so I pulled the door apart and disassembled the frame. The L-bolt's spring is rust-welded into a solid chunk, including the rusted remains of the L-bolt. After cracking it free, I knocked the vent window channel off, drilled & punched the four ~9/64" rivets out for the top of the L-bolt, and for the latch bolt. I also tightened the upper pivot rivet, and straightened both of its tabs.
