tpms.jpg The 12-year-old tires didn't even survive being removed - they all lost chunks from their beads.  All the mating surfaces of the rims were wirewheeled (hub faces & both beads) to remove corrosion & rubber.  Then [url=https://www.amazon.com/dp/B077D3PR6Z]aftermarket internal TPMS[/url] sensors were installed with the new (made in USA) stock-size tires.  The TPMS receiver uses battery voltage (nominal 12V), so I soldered its cable to the diesel warning lights PC board on the key-switched (gauge power) circuit.  After I replace the dash, I'll mount the display.
