This is the first thing I've pulled any distance since the transmission flush & adding the 2nd ATF cooler: the empty 3Kip trailer from Memphis to Nashville, with the Xterra on the return trip along the back roads. I forgot to bring the FoSeal adaptor, so I wasn't able to read or clear codes when the CEL came on about halfway home. The engine temperature barely came up (as usual), but I don't have the trans temp gauge installed yet, so I don't know how hot it got. But the underside of the truck is damp with ATF that's dripping from the bellhousing, so I assume it's from the typical E4OD front pump seal.
The EBP is clean and its wiring doesn't appear to be damaged, so IDK why that fault occurred, but neither re-appeared in the few drives I've made since.
