After a carb failure ruined the original re-rebuilt 300ci engine, I tossed it all and dropped in a '95 4.9L that I found in a junkyard with stuck-shut injectors. Shortly thereafter, I rolled it & replaced the body tub, which was painted as a black Eddie Bauer (because touch-ups are easy). A few decades later, when that body & the original frame were literally falling apart, I bought a '93 with a blown engine, stripped both, painted it basically the same, and put everything I wanted into the 3rd version. It now has about a million actual miles without a rebuild.
