After suffering with the batteries that were in it when I bought it for a few years, I decided to do it right for '24. So on Jan 2, before the blizzard had melted, I bought 2 new TestedToughMAX BXT-65-800s and installed them in the dealership parking lot (to make the core exchange easier, without losing radio presets). Later, I pulled each tray (the right one's clamp bolt had always been broken off), sandblasted & cold-galvanized them, added baking soda & a Ford battery blanket, and put felt washers on the posts.
