p6020012.jpg My brand new 460. 470hp/527 ft. lbs. of torque. 1979 460 truck block bored .030" over to make 466 cid, 1970 DOVE-A closed chamber, "quench" heads have been ported & polished and the both sets of ports have been enlarged.  Scorpion 1.73:1 roller rockers, 3/8" Comp Cams Magnum heat treated/hardened pushrods, & Ford Racing pushrod guideplates were also used in the heads. Pistons are Speed Pro forged flat tops w/ total seal rings making 10.5:1 compression, rods and crank are stock and have been checked for straightness and for cracks. Cam is a Lunati hydralic, lift = .531 int. & .560" exh.(w/1.73 rockers), adv. duration = 288 dg. int. & 298 dg. exh. Induction is handled by a brand new Holley 850 double pumper carb(fed by an electric fuel pump) and the intake manifold is an aluminum Weiand Stealth dual plane raised plenum.
