Okay so I’m out side futzing about the truck this evening when this buck, still in velvet, walks up just across the road not but about 20 feet from me at my 4 o’clock. Camera is in the truck and if I move it’ll spook him. So I gawk at him and he gawks at me for a few seconds then slowly continues on his way. Soon as he disappears behind the corner of the truck I get the camera and take this picture at probably 40 feet. I just missed snapping it with him looking right at me. (7/3/2004)
