dsc00181.jpg This is a T-8 Fluorescent bulb in a T-8 fixture. The fluorescent bulb is thinner then that of a T-12 (what most people are used to) The T-8 uses less energy then the T-12 and uses a different type of ballast. You should NEVER EVER EVER use a T-8 bulb in a T-12 fixture, I have seen electrical fires result. On the otherhand sometimes T-12 bulbs can be used in T-8 fixtures.
