02adjuster.jpg After buying new shoes (NAPA ~$25/set of 4), removing the tire, caliper, & rotor, the next step is to back off the adjuster star wheel by prying up.  If it's stuck, use some pentrating oil, but don't contaminate the brakes.  This releives the tension from the top spring so it can be removed by hand.  Then the adjuster can be removed, followed by the 2 retainer springs & pins.
