I had to give my neighbor's camera back before I put the axle back in and finished up. Sorry, no more pics. Here are my two helpers. When you put the axle back in, easy does it. Nice and slow....don't damage the new seal. Slide the axle 3/4 the way down. It will not stay parallel and in the middle - you must hold it straight and "feel" the yoke. Gently (patiently) find the yoke and slide the axle all the way in. Put the C clip back in place, then go back to the wheel. Pull the axle back out until the C clip stops and holds it. Do the other side, which will take half the time now that you know what you are doing. Once the other side is to your satisfaction, slide the pinion shaft back up into the carrier and hold in place with the new lock bolt you bought. It is this moment right here why I purchased the lock bolt extractor kit. If you damage the threads extracting that old bolt, this new bolt will not go in and now you've got to re-thread it. No thanks. I spent the $$ and my bolt when in just fine. Last thing left to do is put the pumpkin cover back on and fill the rear with oil. I bought the black RTV gasket and put a small bead on the inside and outside of the covers' mounting surface (either side of the bolt holes). Fill with gear oil - I needed about 4 bottles - till the oil is just below the fill hole.
