The switch is very basic and 10 amps is plenty. I crimped on solderless connectors on the ends of the three wires. This is a grounding Mod so other than putting power to the LED so it will light up when you throw the switch, everything else is just grounding the trans wire to the body behind the dash by way of the switch. The switch below, with the red tip, is the one I originally bought to do this but needed "12V power" to run the LED and since this is a "Grounding Mod" it wouldn't work. So I used it for my driving lights instead! Two other switches are like this one and under my steering column, for my rock lights, so all I have to do is move those two up here so my seat doesn't hit them when I slide it all the way forward to let the keg, I mean, the kids in....
