fsban.jpg YOU WILL RESPECT MY AUTHORITAY!!! :-D

Not a personal vendetta - yeah, right! Don't look for any of this on FSB because it's not there. ;-)
Steve your right and always right. you can never see anyone elses opinion other than your own. obviously your a pro at engineering and shoud be out designing the latest and greatest automoble structures roll bars in vehicles since you know it all!! We all know how you argue the sky is green when its obviously blue. Stop trying to be badass know it all and STFU

lay the **** off saying the top is a damn cage. It is NOT A CAGE!!!! in any means. sure it will hold up to most of the crashes that could potentially happen on the street and it has been certified to be built and on the road. however thats yesterdays standards early to mid 90s when these where built. remember lots of people take these offroad and guess what?? yeah ford never thought of some of the shit we would put these vehicles through if they did they would be built with a full cage.

bottom line is if your going to wheel it, build or have a cage built. obviously build it right dont cobble it together. if your just hauling the kids around town your fine....
And my reply - no, wait; this isn't there either, so it must not have happened.
Steve your right and always right.
I don't think so, but if you do...
you can never see anyone elses opinion...
Seeing isn't the same as agreeing. If I agreed with everyone about everything (even when I know it's wrong), what would be the point of this forum? Just because I voice my opinion more articulately or persuasively doesn't mean I'm not reading or understanding other posts. It actually proves the opposite - you're just not seeing it because you have an agenda.
obviously your a pro at engineering...
What makes you think that? I didn't engineer the Bronco top. But I know a good design when I drive it.
We all know how you argue the sky is green when its obviously blue.
Yeah, I have a huge reputation for being wrong about Bronco stuff. Why don't you explain it all to us? You're doing a damn fine job of contributing ABSOLUTELY NOTHING BUT SHITSLINGING to this thread. Is that what got you the position of admin?
Stop trying to be badass know it all and STFU
Why don't you demonstrate that for me? : I'm replying to statements & questions ON-TOPIC in this thread with facts & rational opinions. You're trolling for me & hijacking this thread just to stir shit up - probably because of something that got deleted a few weeks ago, right? Just let it go, man. Move on...
lay the **** off saying the top is a damn cage. It is NOT A CAGE!!!!
Could you please quote where I said the top is a cage? I can't find it. I've searched several times, but I must be using the wrong settings or something.
sure it will hold up to most of the crashes that could potentially happen on the street and it has been certified to be built and on the road.
Where have I seen THAT before? Oh yeah! When I typed it! I guess you're agreeing with me, right?
thats yesterdays standards...
What's the expiration date on design standards? They seem to have done OK for the past 30 years of whatever the owners have done with them, including rolling on- & off-road.
remember lots of people take these offroad...
Yeah, I remember. I'm ONE OF THEM. What do YOU wheel?
yeah ford never thought of some of the shit we would put these vehicles through if they did they would be built with a full cage.
Not every Jeep has a separate cage, and I think they're sort-of designed for wheeling, aren't they? Just because Ford didn't market Broncos to hardcore off-roaders doesn't mean that it's unsafe to drive or wheel one in stock form. History (not me) proves you WRONG. Apparently, whatever Ford designed it for, it can handle driving & wheeling pretty well. Even WITH kids in the back seat.
...if your going to wheel it...
Since you obviously joined this thread ONLY to give me shit, take a quick glance at the original post. There's nothing in it about running the Rubicon or any wheeling at all. Just a guy with a wife, a kid, & a recently-purchased Bronco. Do you really think he's running 44s SASed? I bet he's talking about soccer & grocery runs.
if your just hauling the kids around town your fine....
CAREFUL... It almost looks like you're agreeing with me again.
It's FINE.
...and that ain't the half of it! :-D But everything was strictly directed at Dustin, so I don't know how I 'disrepected all of the staff'.

I don't know what your issue is dude but I'm not trolling you like you think....

first calling BS on your shit you call a rollbar. I've done that before too and stand by my posts on that matter.

second is I gave you a ribbing on not using the pm system. seems you can be a smartass you others but you do not like to take it yourself? calm down. I know others do not like seeing posts on contacting other members especially when someone will not use the pm system to do it. I did not delete it yet locked it and stuck it at the top. hell everyone can see it that one and no more bs can go on in it. yes there are others that posting bs in it like need4racin.

These two posts which mind you only one was your thread are not trolling. I would be in all your posts. Don't you think I could do more if I really cared about the itrader thing? I don't give a shit about that and I deleted the replies and comments myself after posting them in the admin section so the whole staff could read. As you know I left the original. hell I could have deleted that one too but did not and left it for everyone to see I offered to make it right and you wanted nothing to do with it so stop trying to bring it up for excuses on why I do things out in the forums. I was supported in my decisions with the staff as it was not an abuse of power.

calm down and get over yourself....don't bother replying to this email as it will unlikely get a response since I'm too good for emails and prefer a pm on FSB issues.

[--------From: Steve83 Sent: Monday, March 23, 2009 7:09 PM--------]
If you think your posts in the roll bar thread were OK, then why did that thread totally disappear? Not locked like every other thread that goes off-topic; not moved like the tennis shoe ads - it's entirely gone without a trace. Who made that decision? Obviously, someone who thinks it was WAY too far, like I said in my last post. And if you deleted it, then that only proves what I'm saying. Or is it because you couldn't take my "ribbing"?

And posting those childish taunts at me in a thread I started & then locking it isn't "ribbing" - it's totally over-the-top f**king with me. If it was just ribbing, then you should be able to take it when I give it back to you, but obviously YOU can't take what you dish out. I've never stopped you or anyone else from posting a reply to anything I've said, so don't think it's me who can't take it. N4R's posts were ribbing - yours might have been if you hadn't locked the thread, but you're just letting your authority go to your head.

Here's the big difference between what I do & what you do: when I disagree with someone (and yes, that happens a lot), first: I tell them exactly what I'm disagreeing with politely & maturely (and usually assertively, too); second: I attack the LOGIC or FACTS that he's basing his opinions on in an attempt to get him to see it from another perspective. I don't attack the PERSON, or the WAY he writes or posts. That's all your posts are doing to me, and then you're using your admin status to prevent me from responding as publicly as you've gone after me. That's trolling - attack without any reason, then run & hide. If you want to "rib" me, then leave the threads open, QUIT deleting posts (yours or mine), & take some "ribbing" right back. Or are you too good for ribbing?

I never even suggested I was "too good" for PMs - I don't know if you were even around when I started using FSB; nor do I know how many times it has crashed since then or if Joe archives all that old s**t. But if it's available, why don't you take a look at the sheer quantity of PMs I was getting right before I turned them off (probably ~6 years ago). Around 15 a day, and probably 14 were about tech s**t that belonged in the open forums. The same thing happened on FTW, FTE, & ORC. While I was typing THIS e-mail, I got another one asking me a tech question, and there were 2 yesterday 1 Sat (and it goes on like that). Then look at the recent posts where noobs say they're GOING to PM or e-mail me some tech question, and the threads calling me out by name. Felix (allcruisen) did it a couple of months ago, but he eventually edited me out of the title.

The point is: if I DID use or allow PMs, there'd be as much traffic in them as in the tech forums, and I'd have to retype one answer for 200 people every month. So I turn them off, post the answer ONCE publicly, and then tell the 2nd, 3rd, & 150th person who asks to search up the original version of the question.

So no - I can't contact twistyeyes by PM, and I've tried his registered e-mail address twice from my computer & once from FSB, and it just bounces, so I had to make a post. Just like I did a few weeks ago for 2 other people, and several times before that. Why didn't you jump my ass for any of those threads? Why is it worth your time to get involved (without ANYONE asking you to) now? How in the f**k do you think that thread was any of your business to post those juvenile troll remarks in, or sticky (where obviously NO ONE looks), or lock? It would have been just fine if you had butted OUT.

Don't wanna respond? I can handle that. I can also handle it if you don't respond in any thread I start, UNLESS you have something ON-TOPIC & worthwhile to add.

No... No, I didn't. And if I'm so welcome, why does every thread discussing my absence get locked &/or deleted?

----------------------------------------------------------------------------
6/21/9 I decided to try to return to FSB by answering a few questions that were specifically addressed to me, & replying to some Parts Wanted threads. I also made 1 post about some new parts I've found for sale. A few hours later, I receive this:

"Steve, you need to sign up for a vendor membership if you wish to continue here at FSB. It's very apparent your selling has went past just helping out a bronco brother.

Also, it's come to my attention that you have said some things about FSB on FDB or other sites. If you still have a problem with FSB and feel the need to post about the site elsewhere, it's probably best that you just not participate here. I'm not dealing with drama and cross posting of a bunch of 3rd grade bullshit

Thanks
Joe"

Yeah, I think I've gone beyond just helping a Bronco brother out - I've risked (& LOST) my own money trying to help people out, and I've spent a lot of time finding/making parts no one else can/will. And all the drama began on FSB - he didn't deal with it when it started, so why does it bother him now??? In fact, someone ELSE posted negative comments about FSB on 4DB, and I politely discouraged him from continuing.

This doesn't make me feel very welcome...
