toweyes.jpg In preparation for OCBR09, we added Expedition/F150 towing eyes.  These are the cast-iron ones, attached using only their original mounting hardware; but the Aluminum ones weigh substantially less and are still strong enough for trucks 2x as heavy as this one.  The bumper doesn't even have to come off to install them using their factory hardware, and only 1 new hole is needed on each side.

Almost any OE towhook can be used:

We chose these because they're strong, stylish, silent, easy, aligned with the frame rails, and they can't hook the truck onto things it runs over.

The bottom R pic shows the rubber air deflector under the radiator.  It not only  prevents hot air from recirculating thru the radiator; it also keeps debris out of the belt.  It's a ~$2 piece of shower liner mat from Home Depot held on with some self-tapping screws & some steel strips.
