after installing the ps pump and ac compressor and finishing putting everything back together, i drained the oil because coolant and other stuff went down into the sump. put in some 50/50 coolant mix and fired it up. let it warm up and set the timing. nice and easy since painting the timing mark and indicator. found a big vacuum leak where the egr bolts up, it was not letting the throttle plate seat against the intake. loosened egr and tightened throttle plate then egr. loud whistling gone now and she purrs like a kitten now.
