sta72664.jpg Old and new.

The new regulator is an aftermarket Dorman part. Not my first choice, and I'd advise you use OEM/Ford - though it seems just fine.
My reasons for using the aftermarket part are simple:
My Ford dealer did not have the regulator in stock, and would take a few days to get it.
My local autoparts store had the Dorman part on the shelf, ready to go that day.
