You see the truck here after all the body work was completed, primed and ready for painting.
In 2009 it became obvious that if this truck was going to last much longer, I would have to get serious about redoing the body work. This time I decided to go through the entire truck again replacing rusted sections including areas I had not bothered to fix the first time, (like B-posts, right front A-post, rear tub support, tailgate support and body mounts), plus redo floorboard areas.
As a note: I can say with 100% confidence that the majority of rust trouble areas on Bronco's could have been completely prevented with some very simple modifications and proper sealing. Apparently Ford didn't intend for the trucks to last very long. With a little help and TLC, this one has beaten the odds. As of this modification 1983 Bronco the truck was 28 years old, that's pretty good for a North East Bronco.
