quarter-panel-removal-001.jpg There are a zillion welds to cut to get the 1/4 panel skin off so get yourself a good cutter with spare bits plus a weld buster.  In case you don't know what a weld buster is, It is a hardened piece of flat steel stock with what looks like chisel edges on it. After you cut the welds with a cutting tool there is often a small piece you missed.  You then insert the sharpened edge between the skin and skin support and give the side of the bar a whack with a hammer.  That will cut through the remaining piece of spot weld.
