visor02.jpg These visors are almost entirely glued together.  The elastic band is sewed at the top, but I don't want to replace it anyway.  The upholstery is only glued to the cardboard, and then the edge is glued together.  So it's very easy to open it up, remove the old crap, and then reassemble it WITHOUT having to sew anything.

To start, pry out the vanity light lenses, then gently pry the top clips loose, slide the mirror frame down & off the lower clips.  Then cut into the glued seam along the bottom & outboard edges to open the cardboard.  Cut away the elastic's stitching, & discard all the old fabric.
