11.jpg Push-Down Shifter Installation The wells in the outer boot bezel ([url=https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000O0IKWQ]F2TZ7277A[/url]) collect dirt which fills the phillips heads of the screws (55930-S2). To remove the screws, use a dental pick to loosen the dirt and compressed air to blow it out of the wells. The pivot bolt (not called out) has a 1" hex and a T-55 recess; the detent plate bolts (391219-S2) have the same T-55 recess but 13/16" heads. The link bar (7B051) simply presses onto the shift lever nipples. Do not pry against the shifter (7210 LOWER) while it is installed on the trans extension. Push-Down Shifter Installation

The wells in the outer boot bezel (F2TZ7277A) collect dirt which fills the phillips heads of the screws (55930-S2). To remove the screws, use a dental pick to loosen the dirt and compressed air to blow it out of the wells.

The pivot bolt (not called out) has a 1" hex and a T-55 recess; the detent plate bolts (391219-S2) have the same T-55 recess but 13/16" heads.

The link bar (7B051) simply presses onto the shift lever nipples. Do not pry against the shifter (7210 LOWER) while it is installed on the trans extension.
