bodymtl1a.jpg This is how the core support mount wells should look on a later-model truck after a few rounds of pressure-washing: roughly 1/2" deep with an obvious hex contour.  Note that the threads are essentially GONE from the section that has been covered in dirt, rust, battery acid, & road salt.
