fueltubing.jpg Ford has been using hard nylon fuel tubing since the early 80s - I don't know why anyone is still using rubber, but I'm through with it. Modern gasahol just tears it up, creating more work & EXPENSE than just converting before you notice any problems. I replaced all but the pump-to-carb tube on my lawn mower last year with normal rubber, and it's already just as bad as the original hose was after 7 years, so I'm not messing around any more. I'll probably change all the MGB's hose before I put the head back on it (another victim of gasahol).
