Current-Limiting Device, 30A Prototype
This doesn't interfere with the trailer battery receiving full charging system voltage, until the trailer tries to draw enough to blow the truck's fuse. Then the device limits the trailer to that current until the draw is reduced, when it switches back to normal. Thus preventing the truck fuse from ever blowing due to a fault on any trailer. The truck fuse will only blow if there's a fault between this device & the fuse (ON the truck).
So any trailer (with battery &/or winch) that I tow will continue to be charged as long as I'm connected, even if it would have blown the truck's fuse as soon as I connected it.
