I found the Brother P-Touch 2430-PC with white-on-clear high-strength adhesive tape produces near-perfect labels. Since it's only a PC-based printer (no keypad), it accepts any installed font in any size, and any graphics that fit on the tape in the machine. I don't remember what font I used, but it's a near-perfect match for the rest of the dash lettering.
Regardless of this switch, the high idle is DISabled if the brake lights are on, or if the shifter is in any gear other than P or N. This truck idles at 730 RPM (off); low is 1070; medium is 1360; hi is 1600.
