ford-harness-connector-clips.jpg View from the front side. These are the tabs that hold the wires in place. There is one tab for each wire. The tabs press up against the metal connector on the wire (see next pic). These tabs are very brittle. 

Step 4 - Very carefully slide your pic between the tab and the wire, while wiggling/pulling the wire from the back of the connector. Once you relieve the tension on the tab, the wire will easily pull out from the back.
