I work as a special ed teacher at a non profit school that caters primarily to children of a developmental or emotional disability. I am an auxiliary police officer and serve as their fleet maintenence officer, so on top of my own vehicle I spend alot of time working on the towns 2 auxiliary cars as well as assisting the full time police department with upkeep of the departments 8 vehicles. This is my third vehicle and it has required alot of work, for the recent stuff, I have done front tie rods and ball joints, 1 new engine mount, idler arm, Pittman arm, front/rear brakes, 4 tires (within past year), Fuel pump, intake manifold, and other stuff I am too lazy to list. My SUV is equipped for me to be able to to quick field repairs of the crusiers to get them back to the station, or back on the road. |
