Even with my size 9 hands, it's surprisingly possible to replace 5.0L & 5.8L injectors without removing the plenum. This is a '96 (which doesn't have a front crossover tube for the fuel rail as older engines do), so that certainly made this quicker & easier, but it should still be doable on any year. I removed the distributor cap for better access, so my elbow could get lower for reaching #3. I might have gotten #4 by reaching over the back.

As always, use only clean motor oil to lubricate the fuel system O-rings. Never use silicone grease because gas doesn't dissolve it, so it can plug the injectors.
