Hello everyone, Name's Melissa. A couple of years ago I acquired a 1985 crown vic saving it from being used as scrap metal. This younger guy pretty much said it wasn't his taste and just wanted to get rid of it. So I asked for a trade he could use my broken Plymouth sundance with a mix of scrap metal I had for the car. I have to say darn thing was intimidating once I finally got it, but I couldn't see anyone throwing out something with 70 thousand original miles that just needed a starter. So here I am, joining a club and completely in love with my Boat. Which all my friends call it, or the armored tank. I'm the only one who has something that big who isn't driving a truck. ; 3 I can't wait to make some friends and get some advice on this old car.

Good for you Melissa!!! Great deal and you did the right thing. People do not know they have a classic until just a few years after they sell it, then they realize it is a rare car. You do not see too many of them on the road so you will be a a hit with your friends. It is hard to tell one silver import from another these days. You should check out the crownvic.net forum to get more advice. Good luck...Dave
