20140707_194404.jpg The existing bracket that holds the alternator needs to be clearanced for the 3G, it's pretty evident once you go to install it where the interference is, so a little hit with the grinder and the 3G will slide into place.

wiring for the 3G is much cleaner and is very straightforward.  you'll, if you're pulling one off of a J/Y rig just get the entire harness much easier that way. 

I got an aftermarket megafuse and bigger cables for mine.
